The Pub Quiz Company was set up and is run by Matt Wing and Pete Jordan.

“We are both DJ’s performing on the nightclub circuit in mid and west Cornwall. The tourist season always provides a boost to DJs in Cornwall with more work available during the summer months. To overcome the lack of work in the winter we needed a way to extend our season, this is when the idea of performing pub quizzes was born.

We have now been hosting pub quizzes for eight years. During this time we have formulated a great way of providing entertainment to pub goers and at the same time attracting new customers who wouldn’t normally visit a pub for entertainment. We run our quizzes using PowerPoint and this gives us plenty of time and flexibility to interact with and have fun with the customers. Indeed the social “banter” naturally becomes a major part of a regular quiz night and all part of the fun.
